DUSHANBE, May 27, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov yesterday met here with visiting Vice President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ms. Christine Beerli, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

The two reportedly discussed activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Tajikistan, including addressing humanitarian problems and promoting the International Humanitarian Law and other humanitarian norms.

The sides also discussed issues related to the current situation in Afghanistan and providing humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, the source said.
