DUSHANBE, July 6, 2014, Asia-Plus — By government’s decree signed on July 5 top managers of the Tajik power holding were replaced.
Asliddin Nazarzoda was relieved of his post of director of Barqi Tojik (the state-owned utility responsible for generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Tajikistan), Mirzo Mahmoudzoda was relieved of his post of the first deputy director of Barqi Tojik and Sulaymon Qosim was relieved of his post of deputy director of Barqi Tojik in connection with transfer to other jobs.
Rustam Rahmatzoda, formerly head of the Zafarobod district in Sughd province, was appointed to head Barqi Tojik, Jamshed Boboyev was appointed the first deputy director of Barqi Tojik and Bahrom Azimov was appointed deputy director of Barqi Tojik.
On the same day, President Ramon ordered to set up the commission to assess the professionalism of the Barqi Tojik employees.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the main purpose of the attestation is in enhancing the efficiency of economic and financial activities of Barqi Tojik.
