DUSHANBE, July 16, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The volume of transactions of the Unistream money transfer system in Tajikistan rose 127 percent in the year to July 1, 2008, reaching $285 million.  As of July 1, the volume of the Unistream transactions in Tajikistan amounted to $126 million.   

According to the Unistream analytical department, over the second quarter of this year, Unistream’s turnover in Tajikistan has amounted to $179 million, which is $97 million more than in the same period of last year.   

According to the Unistream general director Suren Ayriyan, their network in Tajikistan has increased from 300 to 480 outlets over year and the system currently works with 10 financial institutions in the country.   

Unistream is a Moscow-headquartered money transfer network, offering a wide range of money transfer services to the clientele around the world.
