DUSHANBE, September 11, Asia-Plus  — China’s President Xi Jinping arrived in Dushanbe Thursday afternoon on a four-day state visit.

The Tajik MFA information department says that on September 12 President Xi will attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

On September 13, Chinese leader is scheduled to hold talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon and Xi Jinping will take part in a ceremony in which the first unit at the Dushanbe-2 combined heat and power (CHP) plant will be put on line.

On September 13, Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to attend a ceremony of the beginning of construction of the Central Asia – China gas pipeline in the Roudaki district.

Xi Jinping will leave Dushanbe for Beijing in the morning of September 14.
