DUSHANBE, July 7, 2008, Asia-Plus — The first edition of a new social-political weekly
, Borgohi Sukhan
, has been published in Dushanbe.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the
Borgohi Sukhan
editor Mirzomahmoud Mirbobozoda said that the weekly, founded by the Culture Center Borgohi Sukhan, is intended for Persian-speaking peoples of the world.
The weekly’s board of guardians includes known Tajik poets Mumin Qanoat and Fazrona, researchers Muhammadjon Shakuri, Abdunabi Zattorzoda and Khudoi Sharif, as well as Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali Asghar Sher-Doust, Afghan Culture Attaché Ghulom Hasan Hazrati and the Culture Center Borgohi Sukhan head Bouri Karim.
The weekly publishes materials both in Cyrillic and Arabic scripts.
The first edition, having a circulation of a 3,000, contains materials dedicated to the 1500th anniversary of founder of the Tajik-Persian classical literature Abu Abdulloh Roudaki, international book exhibition in Tehran, and recent visit of internationally known Tajik-Russian writer Temour Zulfikarov to Tajikistan.
