DUSHANBE, October 22, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan is participating in the 16th CHINA MINING Conference and Exhibition 2014 that officially kicked off on October 20 and will conclude on October 23.

On the sidelines of the event, a forum of heads of mining sectors took place on October 21 to discuss prospects of further cooperation and Tajikistan was represented at the forum by Murod Khol, the head of the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan.

Tajik chief geologist reportedly also held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 16th CHINA MINING Conference and Exhibition 2014.

Jointly organized by Ministry of Land & Resources of the People’s Republic of China and Beijing Sino-Confex International Conference and Exhibition Co., Ltd (Sino-Confex), the 16th CHINA MINING Conference and Exhibition 2014 (CHINA MINING 2014) are taking place at Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center from October 20 to October 23.  It has reportedly provided unique business opportunities for mining exploration companies and all-related services providers.

The 16th CHINA MINING Conference and Exhibition 2014 (CHINA MINING 2014) covers the whole value chain, including geological surveying, exploration development, mining rights and minerals trading, mining investment & financing, smelting & processing, technique & equipment, mining services and many more.

The event has attracted a lot of concerns from the industry community.  

Last year, China Mining featured more than 7,000 delegates, nearly 470 exhibitors from 55 countries. 11 foreign mining ministers attended and presented in Keynote sessions.

China Mining 2014 program consists of following streams: Mining Development Summits, Policies & Financing, Prospecting Exploration & Mining, Commodities, Country Investment and Mining Sustainability.  More than 40 plenary and breakout sessions are arranged to discuss the hot topics the industry concerns.

China Mining 2014 Trade Show and Equipment Show features the largest mining investment and trading platform. Nearly ten country pavilions are promoting mining investment in different countries. China Land & Resources government department together with prospectors from sub-organizations feature the largest and most active players in Trade Show.
