DUSHANBE, October 10, 2014, Asia-Plus – Afghan national has been detained in Dushanbe on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports that an operation carried out by police officers in Dushanbe on October 9 led to the arrest of Afghan drug peddler.
Several packages of narcotic drug tested positive to heroin weighing 19.488 kilograms were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained Afghan drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
