DUSHANBE, June 26, Asia-Plus — The Kulob company, Orien-Rustam (former Kulob meat processing and packing plant), has begun installing equipment for producing vegetable oil, Asia-Plus has learned from the Orien-Rustam head Amrididdin Rustamov.
According to him, the equipment was delivered to Kulob from Pakistan, and new technology will allow producing some 15 tons of vegetable oil per day. “The equipment allows producing oil from any raw materials.
“We will produce not only cottonseed but also linseed oil”, Rustamov said, noting that the Danghara district now grows enough line.
He added that his company continues actively operating in the livestock sector. “We have decided to launch a stock farm with at leas 100 head of cattle,” Rustamov said.
Since the beginning of this year, Orien-Rustam has produced and realized some 6 tons of sausages and more than 2 tons of meat, according to him.
