DUSHANBE, January 23, 2015, Asia-Plus — Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will address the parliament today.
Some sources say that this year, the president will address a joint meeting of both chambers of the parliament not in April but in January, because this year financial year starts on January 1 and not April 1 as it was before.
Usually, in an address to the parliament, the president discusses the country’s priorities in domestic politics and foreign policy as well as the main economic challenges.
The meeting wills start today at the Vahdat State Complex at 10:00 am.
