DUSHANBE, March 17 2015, Asia-Plus — Deputy speakers of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament) have been elected.  All of them are activists of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The fist sitting of the first session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fifth convocation took place on March 17.

Mr. Abdujabbor Azizi was elected the first deputy head of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.  He came to the lower parliament house from the party list.

Ms. Khairiniso Yusufi and Mr. Akramsho Felaliyev were elected deputy speakers of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.

Ms. Yusufi came to the parliament from the party list and Mr. Felaliyev won election in the Khorog single-mandate constituency.

Ms. Yusufi and Mr. Felaliyev have been members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon since 2010.
