KHUJAND, April 1, 2015, Asia-Plus — A new medical and diagnostic center called “Tobbi Ajam” (Persian Medicine) has opened in Khujand, the capital of the northern province of Sughd.

Local private company, Chor Dodaron, has allocated one million somoni for construction of the center, which is reportedly provided will all necessary medical equipment of the United States, Japanese and Korean manufacture.

Along with providing diagnostics and 15 types of physical therapy, the center with 48 beds will also provide medical assistance to inpatients.

The center was put into operation yesterday and during the first two days of functioning, the center is offering services to all clients free of charge.
