DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus — The fourth session of the working group for working out draft agreements determined in Section 9 of the Plant of main Events for Implementation of the Concept for Further Development of CIS will be held at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk, Belarus on May 29-30.   

Ms. Maria Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS executive committee, told Asia-Plus today that the working group members are continuing work on preparing a new edition of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of Heads of State, the Council of Government Heads, the Council of Foreign Ministers and the CIS Economic Council.  

According to her, the Rules regulate an order of holding of sessions, preparation, submission and endorsement of draft documents and other issues.  

“Besides, the meeting participants also intend to discuss a draft procedure of preparation and holding of sessions of expert groups for coordination of the CIS draft document,” said Ms. Gutsalo.  “The Russian Federation and the CIS Executive Committee have submitted their amendments.  After final coordination both documents will be submitted for consideration to CIS supreme organs.”
