DUSHANBE, May 28, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday received a group of newly appointed officials with ministry of agriculture and its sub-divisions in the provinces, open joint-stock company (OJSC) Roghun HPS, judicial system, as well as savings bank, according to presidential press service. He called on them to work honestly and in good faith.
The president noted that newly appointed officials with the ministry of agriculture should take efforts to ensure provision of food security, rational use of farmland and increasing in production of domestic farm produce, as well as implementation of the national plans and programs aimed at enhancing the agrarian sector.
Similar directions to work honestly were made to newly appointed officials with the agencies for geodesy and state material resources.
The newly appointed deputy head of the savings bank was charged to take efforts to ensure financial support for the agrarian sector through providing small loans to farmers.
Persons appointed to official positions at OJSC Roghun HPS said that they realize the importance of work entrusted to them and will take efforts to successfully fulfill their tasks.
While addressing newly appointed judges with words of encouragement, the president called on them to take special attention to the issue of protection of rights and raise their professionalism.
