DUSHANBE, May 5, Asia-Plus – Head of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company and two other senior officials of the company discussed issues of mutual interest, including resumption of tractor producing in Tajikistan, with Tajik Minister of Energy and Industries Gul Sherali n Dushanbe on Friday.

Iranian ambassador to Dushanbe Ali Asghar Sherdoust also attended the meeting, according to IRNA.

The Iranian businessmen talked about problems which their company is facing in Tajikistan and Tajik minister promised to remove the obstacles and provide an appropriate ground for continuation of the company”s work.

The two sides agreed that in a month time Tajiran Company, which assembles Iran Tractor company production, starts its production in Tajikistan again.

The Iranian delegation also asked Tajik minister to create opportunity for Tajik farmers to be able to buy tractors by providing a leasing system.

Iran Tractor Assemble Plant named as Tajiran was established in 2006 with a 10 million dollar investment in Tajikistan, but because of some problems stopped its activities.
