DUSHANBE, April 11, Asia-Plus — A two-day regional seminar formally titled “Private Employment Agencies: Role; Management; Regulation; and Activity” will be held in Dushanbe on April 15-16.
The seminar, organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), aims to consider issues related to capacity and role of private employment agencies in management of labor migration and development of effective forms of regulation of the labor migration processes and law enforcement practice on the part of state, according to the IOM Dushanbe Office.
The seminar is conducted as part of the labor Migration in Central Asia project under financial support of the European Union.
The seminar participants include representatives from government bodies, social partners, private employment agencies, and international organizations.
“The event, organized in cooperation with Private Employment Agencies’ Association, will include additional two-day training for the agencies and all interested organizations,” the source at the IOM Dushanbe Office said.
