DUSHANBE, March 13, Asia-Plus  — An exhibition of Iran’s press opened at the Department of Journalism at Tajik National University on Thursday.  

Mr. Qahraman Suleimani of the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe said that the exhibition had been organized within the framework of cultural and educational cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. 

More than 1,000 copies of the Iranian periodicals have been put on display in the exhibition that runs through March 16.  After the exhibition, all materials will be handed over to Tajik National University’s library.         

A meeting of Tajiks students with two Iranian journalists will be on sidelines of the exhibition, according to Mr. Suleimani.  Iranian journalists will tell them about problems of modern journalism, he said.
