Kazakhstan sends a bulk of wheat, fuel and foodstuffs to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, March 13, Asia-Plus  — Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Masimov has singed a resolution on providing humanitarian aid to Tajikistan, Kazinfrom reported.  

By government’s resolution the ministry of agriculture has provided 1,000 tons of food wheat, the ministry of energy and mineral resources has sent to Tajikistan 500 tons of diesel fuel and 500 tons of furnace fuel oil, and the ministry of emergencies has sent to Tajikistan 66 million tenges’ worth of food products and warm clothes.   

We will recall the Kazakh train loaded with 60 tons of food products and some 30 tons of warm clothes arrived in Dushanbe on March 3.
