DUSHANBE, June 28, 2016, Asia-Plus – The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed issues related to denouncement of an agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on simplification of the naturalization procedure at a June 28 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zurhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also discussed denouncement of an agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on simplified procedures for termination of citizenship of Tajikistan and acquisition of citizenship of Kyrgyzstan.
Besides, the board members discussed amendments proposed to the country’s laws on holidays, radioactive waste management and state regulation of production and use of separate types of oil products.
They also discussed a draft dwelling code and draft law on seismic security, Sultonov said.
