Among the countries of the former USSR only in Tajikistan the wages are lower than in Ukraine, declared the President of the Ukrainian analytical center (UAC), economist Alexander Ohrimenko on a press-conference in Kiev.

"Ukraine has managed to set a record among the CIS countries and Georgia – the lowest wage. Only in Tajikistan the wages are low, even Kyrgyzstan beat us on the turn. This was a time when our salaries took the fourth place among the CIS countries", – quoted Ukrainian media Ohrimenko.

He noted that in less than three years after the start of Euromaidan, the average salary in Ukraine fell by 53% and reached $ 195, compared to $ 411 in 2013.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian analytical center, citing the statistics of CIS and Georgia authorities, reported that the highest official average patch in the first half of this year was recorded in Russia – $ 556. The next are Kazakhstan ($407), Georgia ($391), Armenia ($386), Belarus ($348), Azerbaijan ($316), Moldova ($242), Kyrgyzstan ($202), Ukraine ($195) and Tajikistan ($116).

It is noted that in the last three years the average wages in Tajikistan have increased by 2%, from $114 in 2013 to the current $116.

Meanwhile, according to the Agency for statistics under the President of Tajikistan, the average monthly nominal wage in Tajikistan in May this year has amounted to 910,44 somoni ($115,7).
