Georgia’s presidential vote democratic with inconsiderable violations: Tajik CCER member

DUSHANBE, January 8, Asia-Plus  — An early presidential election in Georgia was democratic just with inconsiderable violations, Ms. Parvina Rasoulova, member of Tajikistan’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER), who attended the vote as observer told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon.  

“People participate actively in the voting,” said Ms. Rasoulova, “Moreover, I was pleased to see that ordinary citizens overtly protested when any the least mistake was made during the voting process.”  

At the same time, she noted that administrative resource was widely used for election campaign of the incumbent president.
