DUSHANBE, December 11, Asia-Plus  — A seminar on development of electronic skills and capacities of agri-industrial business in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on December 13-14, Asia-Plus has learned from Abdulfattoh Shafiyev, a national consultant to International Trade Center (ITC) Tajikistan for public relations.  

According to him, senior representatives from relevant ministries and organizations as well as representatives from private sector will represent Tajikistan in the seminar, which aims to  consider issues related to strengthening beneficiaries’ potentials on web-marketing and raising their competitiveness at international level.  

The seminar participants will familiarize themselves with international experiences and advanced technologies in this field, Shafiyev said.  

The seminar is expected to end with adoption of recommendations on development of electronic commerce in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.  

Experts from a number of European countries as well India and Iran have been invited to take part in the seminar.

ITC launched the electronic commerce project in Tajikistan this autumn.  

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). 

ITC enables small business export success in developing countries by providing, with partners, trade development solutions to the private sector, trade support institutions and policy-makers.
