DUSHANBE, November 21, Asia-Plus — Officers from the Sughd counternarcotics directorate arrested a drug pusher in Khujand on November 19, according to the Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA).
The source at a CA told Asia-Plus that Khujand resident was arrested Monday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking. “Capsules containing totaling 1.153 kilograms of heroin were found in his house,” the source said, noting that the drug pusher was seeking persons to transport heroin to the Russian Federation.
Investigation department of the Sughd counternarcotics directorate has instituted criminal proceedings on drug trafficking charges.
