Iran’s charity helps educational facilities in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, November 7, Asia-Plus  – Tajik Branch of Iran’s Imam Khomeini Relief Committee Imdad has provided $10,000 worth of sewing equipment to four educational facilities in Tajikistan.

Said Hamed Azimi, the head of the Iranian charity’s branch for Tajikistan, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that the equipment, totaling 40 sewing machines, had been distributed to vocational-training school # 61 in the Rasht district, vocational-training school # 17 in the Hamadoni district, vocational-training schools # 72 in the Shahritus district and secondary school # 1 in the Shahrinav district for launching sewing workshops. 

According to him, the assistance was provided at request of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Education (MoE).
