DUSHANBE, October 11, Asia-Plus — Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), Professor Qurbon Rasoulov died in Dushanbe on October 9, 60, after a short illness.
Qurbon Rasoulov was elected to the Majlisi Namoyandagon by the People’s Democratic Party slate.
Qurbon Rasoulov had scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences in Philosophy and in the Majlisi Namoyandagon, he was member of the Committee for Science, Culture and Youth Policy.
Qurbon Rasoulov was born in the Baljuvon district on January 15, 1947. In 1968, he graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Tajik National University. He had worked with higher educational institutions for many years. In 2000-2005, Rasoulov was member of the Majlisi Millie (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament)
