DUSHANBE, October 2 Asia-Plus — Recently appointed 12 heads and 22 executive secretaries of branches of Tajikistan’s Red Crescent Society (RCS) in Gorno Badakhshan and districts subordinate to the center (RRPs) have taken a training course on management issues, Asia-Plus has learned from Madina Sayfiddinova, information officer with RCS headquarters in Dushanbe. 

According to her, the seminar organized by RCS and Tajik Delegation of International Committee for Red Cross (ICRC) under support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) was aimed at raising their professionalism.  

“The seminar participants also studied new structure of RCS, updated regulations on the RCS branches as well as tasks of management organs in the provinces,” the information officer said. 

Similar seminar will be conducted for heads of the RCS branches in the Sughd and Khatlon provinces as well.
