KULOB, August 24, Asia-Plus — 14 another persons joined the organization of the Islamic Revival Party (IRPT) for the city of Kulob in August 2007, bringing a total number of its members to 220, Asia-Plus has learned from Muhammadsharif Nabiyev, the head of the IRPT organization for Kulob.

According to him, the number of numbers of the IRPT organization in Kulob has doubled over the past two years.  “There are 70 women among members of our organization,” Nabiyev said, noting that propagation work among women remains one of priorities of the party’s activities    

“Since at present there are no any important political campaigns in the country, we now focus on educational activities,” said the head of the IRPT organization for Kulob, “Every week, we conduзct training workshops in Kulob, and once a month, members of our organization leave for Dushanbe work, where seminars are conducted in the Dialogue Club.”
