DUSHANBE, August 3, Asia-Plus — The Khujand airport international terminal, operated by open joint-stock company Nourafshon, was opened on August 5, 2006.
Artyom Geivandov, the chief spokesman for the terminal, said that the terminal with capacity a capacity of 300 passengers per hour is a modern technological complex provided with the up-to-date equipment and meeting international standards. “All its sub-divisions are computerized and covered with local computer network,” the spokesman said.
According to him, the terminal provides services to passengers flying by planes TajikAir (Tajik national air carrier), Russia’s air companies Orienburg Airlines, KrasAir (Krasnoyarsk airlines), Ural Airlines, S7, as well as South China Airlines.
