DUSHANBE, April 3, Asia-Plus — On Monday April 2, Algerian Ambassador to Tajikistan Muhammad Berrah (phonetically spelled) presented credentials to President Emomali Rahmon, presidential press service said.
State and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Algeria were discussed at a meeting following the credentials-presenting ceremony.
During the meeting, Rahmon noted that Tajikistan attaches significance to expansion of cooperation with Arab and other Muslim countries. The two exchanged views on ways to expand bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Algeria in different fields.
Emomali Rahmon and Muhammad Berrah also discussed the current situation I the Middle East, according to presidential press service.
