DUSHANBE, March 20, Asia-Plus – Tajik nationals living in Moscow and other regions of the Russian Federation will hold celebrations to mark the Navrouz holiday as well.

Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, said that in Moscow, festive events dedicated to Navrouz will be held in the House of Nationalities on March 21. Representatives from the Tajik Diaspora in Moscow and guests will take part in the event.  

The same day, festive events to mark Navrouz will be held at the Palace of Culture in the city of Ryazan.  In parallel, a stand displaying materials about Tajik culture will be opened at the Ryazan Palace of Culture.  

On March 23, the Association of Tajik Public Organizations will hold celebrations to mark Navrouz in one of pavilions of Russia’s Exhibition Center in Moscow with participation of known Tajik artistes.  The next day, many ethnic Diasporas of Moscow will gather at the Moscow Exhibition Center to mark the Navrouz holiday.  An exhibition of national dishes of Azeri, Afghan, Tajik, Kyrgyz, Kazakh and other peoples as well as a concert of folk music will be held on the sidelines of the event.  

The festive events to mark Navrouz will also be held in Tver, Yekaterinburg, Noginsk and other cities of Russia, the press secretary said.
