DUSHANBE, January 15, Asia-Plus – A ceremony of the Radio Asia-Plus Navoi Dil Music Award will be held in Dushanbe on February 9.

A news conference dedicated to the holding of the Navoi Dil Music Award was held in Dushanbe on January 15.  During the news conference it was noted that the radio station Asia-Plus had received 174 applications for taking part in the competition. 

The winners of the Navoi Dil Music Award (known from 2003 to 2005 as the Surudi Sol) were selected by a hit parade on Radio Asia-Plus.  The known and favorite Tajik performers took part in the competition and listeners voted for the 15 most popular songs.

Among these 15 songs are “Yori Man” by the group Avesto, “Khoram Mekuni” by Manizha Davlatova, “Yor Biguyam” by the group Dilnoz, “Ishqi Tu” by Samad Ghani, “Turo Didam” by Shabnam Surayo, “Mijgon Siyohh” by the group Shams, “Zulaikho” by Jurabek Murodov and the group Vazir, “Fardo” by Dilnoz Akramova and the group Shabdez, “Yor Guli Suman” by Davlat Nazri, etc.   

Speaking to journalists, the Navoi Dil project executive producer Khurshed Azizov noted that Navoi Dil is a new brand of the annual Asia-Plus Music Award known from 2003 to 2005 as the Surudi Sol. 

A gala concert with participation of the winners of the Navoi Dil Award will be held at the Sadriddin Ayni State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.

According to Yekaterina Arakelova, the Radio Asia-Plus executive director, a monitor will be installed outside the theatre building to broadcast the ceremony. 

 A general sponsor of the Navoi Dil Award is AgroInvestBonk and one of official sponsors is Indigo-Tajikistan.
