The first Resource Center of a new format in Tajikistan, "Russia with You," opened at the State Institution "Children and Youth Center of Dushanbe" on October 23.

Organized by Rossotrudnichestvo (the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation), the event welcomed children, youth, and representatives of the public and cultural sectors, who became the first visitors to this modern cultural and educational space.

The guests of the opening ceremony reportedly participated in a rich program. Creative groups performed, and master classes and presentations showcasing the center's potential were organized.

A modern educational space

The new center is a high-tech cultural and educational space designed for lectures, exhibitions, discussions, workshops, and other events aimed at children and youth.  The center is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including ergonomic furniture and modern, functional equipment for educational purposes.

A special play area has been created for children under 12, featuring interactive devices such as "talking" books and "Znatok" pens, electronic posters, and an interactive sensory table for solving puzzles.

These tools not only help children learn the Russian language but also broaden their horizons.  For those interested in science and technology, the center offers activities with DIBO electronic kits, which help children develop skills in circuit design and programming.

Library and equipment

The center’s library includes more than 200 Russian-language books, ranging from fiction to scientific textbooks.  The center is also equipped with videoconferencing systems and a NexTouch interactive panel, enabling remote lessons and workshops.

Upcoming events for the year

By the end of the year, the "Russia with You" center plans to host events for schoolchildren and teachers. These will include master classes in physics, biology, and robotics, as well as science experiment festivals for younger students using digital laboratories.  More than 500 people are expected to participate in these events.
