Zamon Alifbekov, Aide to the Education Minister, has told Asia-Plus that the brochure is based on a statement delivered by President Emomali Rahmonov at a republican conference on the education problems in Dushanbe in December last year.

The brochure having a circulation of a four thousand has been published in three languages (Tajik, English and Russian) in


Turkey


.  It will be distributed to teachers working with educational institutions in the country.  

We will recall that Rahmonov telling the republican session on the education problems assessed the country’s education system as “unsatisfactory.”  Head of state noted that the 2006 budget envisaged 360 million Somonis (more than 109 million) for enhancement of the education sector in the country.
