Jura Taxi on the rise: company representative talks growth, fares, and feedback

In just a few weeks, the new ride-hailing platform Jura Taxi has taken Dushanbe by storm, logging over 1.6 million rides across the capital.

In an interview with Asia-Plus, company representative, Khusrav Sultonov, shared insights into the service’s rapid growth, its latest features, and how Jura is changing the way locals move around the city.

According to him, the app has quickly become a go-to option for passengers, with more residents now choosing to book taxis online rather than hail them on the street.  “Transparency and automation are central to the platform’s operations — debunking widespread rumors about daily driver payments,” Sultonov noted

“There are no extra fees or hidden commissions for drivers,” he emphasized. “All financial transactions are handled automatically, and the system is fully transparent.”

Sultonov further noted that among the platform’s recent innovations are cashless payment options, improved GPS navigation, and a bonus for drivers who promptly arrive at pickup locations. The company has also expanded its digital map with more accurate addresses and announced a forthcoming, which aims to protect drivers from last-minute ride cancellations.

As Jura continues to evolve, users can expect more user-friendly updates and a smoother overall experience, the company representative added.
