The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan declared the inadmissibility of the escalation of tension in the media space, which hinders efforts for a peaceful truce.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan condemned the statement of the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Baghdad Amreev, as hindering the efforts of the Tajik and Kyrgyz sides to resolve all bilateral issues exclusively by political and diplomatic means.
On September 16, Amreev issued a statement condemning Tajikistan's attack with heavy military weapons on the civilian population and civilian infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan.
«Amreev's statement is deeply regrettable, as it is at odds with the goals declared by the Organization, one of which is to make a joint contribution to ensuring peace and stability throughout the world», – noted in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan condemned the statement of the Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Marat Imankulov, who on September 19 at a press conference said that the aggression was planned and prepared by Tajikistan in advance, and fire was opened indiscriminately on any objects, both military and civilian.
«Such statements are based on the manipulation and distortion of facts, as well as fakes, and are intended to mislead the public of the two countries. Responsibility for the consequences of such false statements, capable of heating up the situation in these difficult times for our peoples, lies with the conscience of their authors», noted in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan once again emphasized the position of Tajikistan on the inadmissibility of the escalation of tension in the media space.
