DUSHANBE, January 23, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan’s Ministry is making every effort to find a canvas by known German painter of the 18

century M. Nissen entitled “Mother with Child” that disappeared from the Tajik National Museum on August 15 2005, Deputy Culture Minister, Ibrohim Usmonov, told journalists in Dushanbe on January 23.

  





He noted that the Culture Ministry had already notified the Interior Ministry of the missing object.

  




“Interpol has already been attached to search of the canvas,” Usmonov said.
