Ms. Hela Cheikhrouhou, IFC’s Vice President for the Middle East, Central Asia, Turkiye, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, recently visited Tajikistan.
While in Dushanbe, she held talks with high-ranking Tajik state officials, including Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda, and private sector players.
In the course of these talks, the parties discussed implementation of joint projects, prospects of further expansion of cooperation between IFC and Tajikistan, catalyzing more investments in key sectors of Tajikistan’s economy and some other issues.
Ms. Cheikhrouhou also held met with representatives of the Tajik business community to discuss features of their activities and their plans to expand those activities.
