KURGAN-TUBE, August 16, 2010, Asia-Plus – Gaibullo Avzalov, Head of the Khatlon province has made the decision on prohibition of export outside of grain crops.

As have informed in the regional administration, G.Avzalov has charged to law enforcement bodies, including Department of Internal Affairs of Khatlon, and the customs office take measures on a non-admission of export of grain from Khatlon region, including wheat and flour.

The head Khatlon has explained the decision that this year there was marked the rise in prices for grain crops and flour. As he said, last months on the railway stations hasn”t arrived any wagons with import flour and not to admit rise of prices in home markets, Avzalov has decided to keep own crops and stocks inside the region .

«The president of the country more than once recommended to each family provide themselves with stock of flour and grain», – has underlined Avzalov.
