President attends 10 weddings that simultaneously take place in Istaravshan

KHUJAND, July 9, 2010, Asia-Plus  — On Friday July 9, President Emomali Rahmon visited the Suhbati Duston Restaurant in Istaravshan, where he attended 10 weddings that took place simultaneously and the “khatnasur” party on the occasion of circumcision performed for 40 boys from vulnerable families.

The newly wedded couples and the boys received gifts on behalf of the president.

The restaurant with 120 seats was built by a group of local entrepreneurs in 2007.
