DUSHANBE, December 8, Asia-Plus  — Over the first eleven months of this year, gross agricultural product from all categories of farms has been 7.063 billion somoni (in current prices) and increased by 10.8 percent compared to the same period of last year, Mahmadiyev, the head of the department for economic policy and forecasting within the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

In January-November 2008, Tajikistan produced 6.3775 billion somoni worth of agricultural goods, he noted.

According to Mahmadiyev, compared to January-November 2008, crop growing products increased by 13 percent and animal husbandry increased by 6 percent.
