DUSHANBE, November 16, 2009, Asia-Plus  — On Saturday November 14, President Emomali Rahmon signed the RT Law “On the National Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2010,” according to presidential press service.

Compared to the budget for this year, the national budget for 2010 is increased by 748.5 million somoni.  The budget projects expenditure of 3.137 billion somoni on the social sphere, which is 27 percent more than in 2009.

The Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) passed the national budget for 2010 on November 11 this year.
