Wine enterprises of the Association of Food Industry of Turkmenistan were awarded prizes at the XI Agricultural exhibition “Golden Autumn-2009” that finished Oct. 12 in Moscow.

As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported, wines “Yasmansalyk” and “Gara Uzyum (Geoktepe winery), as well as cognac “Beyik Galkynysh” (Ashgabat winery) received two gold medals as part of the best ecology friendly product contest. 160 kinds of products from around the world competed for awards in this event.

It should be recalled that in August Turkmen wines were awarded two grand gold medals, 7 gold medals and the title of “Best Wine of 2009” at the international competition of wines and spirits “Yalta. Golden Griffon – 2009”.
