, March 6, Asia-Plus – A two-day conference to discuss issues related to spread of avian influenza (bird flue) will be held in
Tehran
from March 12-13.
Mullojon Amirbekov, head of the veterinary service within the Ministry of Agriculture, has told Asia-Plus that representatives from countries, where an outbreak of bird was reported, as well countries threatened with bird flu will attend the meeting in Tehran.
Deputy Agriculture Minister, Mirali Safarov, and Deputy Health Minister, Ziyovuddin Avghonov, will represent
Tajikistan
at this conference.
The conference is aiming to discuss issues related to prevent spread of bird flu.
