KULOB, September 25, 2009, Asia-Plus — A 1.5 million somoni (TJS) government credit has been provided to five industrial enterprises in the city of Kulob, Sayfiddin Qadamov, the head of the branch of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) in Kulob, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, the funds have been distributed to enterprises dealing with processing and packing meat and milk products.
“The loan recipients included the Kulob-based dairy factory, joint-stock company Orien-Rustam (meat processing and packing factory), joint-stock company Oila (cannery), joint-stock company Davron-K (bread-baking plant) and the new cannery in Kulob,” Qadamov said, noting that loans had been provided to the enterprises for the period of one year at 14 percent annual interest.
