DUSHANBE, September 15, 2009, Asia-Plus — A September 14 government session, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, reviewed measures to ensure regular work of the country’s economy during the winter period, according to presidential press service.
The meeting participants included representatives of the government, heads of relevant ministries and organizations as well as senior representatives from president’s office.
Providing the population and social facilities with electricity, natural gas, coals, fuel oil and food products was the focus of the meeting.
Heads of relevant ministries and organizations noted that the plan on procurement of the necessary resources would be fulfilled by October 1.
