DUSHANBE, July 25, 2009, Asia-Plus — More than 34,000 Tajik currently work in the trade sector in the Russian Federation, Russia’s RIA Novosti reported, referring to the July findings by Russia’s Federal Migration Service (MFS).
In all, more than 250,000 foreigners currently work in the Russian trade sector, including 54,000 Chinese nationals, more than 44,000 citizens of Uzbekistan and the same number of Vietnamese nationals.
Besides, more than 12,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, more than 13,000 Ukrainians and more than 12,000 citizens of Azerbaijan now work in this sector in Russia, RIA Novosti said.
