Authors of best projects receive €4,000 for implementation of them

KHUJAND, March 23, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The second exhibition-competition entitled “Energy-Saving Production and Secondary Raw Materials” took place in Chkalovsk, Sughd province on May 21.

Representatives of a number of local enterprises and public associations, as well as inventors and school students participated in the competition that was organized by Chkalovsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute, Sughd Agency for Environmental Protection, and Youth Environmental Protection Group under support of Act Alliance and the OSCE Office in Tajikistan.

They put on displays their achievements in energy-saving production, use of secondary raw materials and recycling technology at the contests, totaling 47 exhibits.

The state unitary enterprise, Zarya Vostoka, and limited liability company, Kuvatsher, received €2,000 for further development of the recycling technologies, and the Gardening and Vegetable Growing Institute received €2,000 for innovative agrotechnical technologies.
