DUSHANBE, November 9, 2011, Asia-Plus — The Consultative Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of Tajikistan met in Dushanbe on November 8.
According to the presidential press service, the meeting participants included the Council members, heads of relevant ministries and agencies as well as foreign partners of the country.
Implementation of decisions adopted by the Council, the process of elaboration of the draft law on “Cooperation between the Government and Private Sector,” ways to enhance agrarian sector as well as reduction of inspections of economic entities by relevant bodies were a major topic of the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, President Emomali Rahmon ordered relevant government bodies to study the issue of granting tax benefits to suppliers of mineral fertilizers, seeds and livestock vaccines.
Besides, the head of state ordered that the draft law on cooperation between the government and the private sector should be submitted for consideration to the Council in the first half-year of 2012, the source said.
