Senior representatives from defense ministry take tests in shooting and drilling

DUSHANBE, November 29, 2011, Asia-Plus  — A three-day training for senior representatives from the Ministry of Defense (MoD) is going on in Dushanbe, Faridoun Mahmadaliyev, a spokesman for a MoD, said.

According to him, the training that began on November 28 has involved deputy defense ministers, senior representatives from the ministry, chiefs of regional military registration and enlistment offices and commanders of military units.  The training participants are taking tests in shooting and drilling.

“Beginning on December 1, all the military units and formations of the Ministry of Defense go on the winter period of training that will last through May 2012,” Mahmadaliyev said
