Majlisi Namoyandagon board considers plant quarantine bill

DUSHANBE, December 15, Asia-Plus  –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a plant quarantine bill at a December 15 meeting, presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on registry, licensing certain types of activities, amnesty of physical and legal entities in connection with legalization of their properties, national property, and some other laws.

Some of these issues will be considered at a regular sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of that third convocation on December 24, Sultonov said.
