Special commission set up at Tajik embassy in Moscow works round-the-clock

DUSHANBE, November 14, 2011, Asia-Plus  — In connection with unauthorized pickets and demonstrations outside the buildings of Tajik Embassy and Tajik Consular Service in Moscow and the fact that threats against nationals of Tajikistan from informal organizations in Russia have become more frequent, a special commission has been set up to opportunely respond to appeals of Tajik citizens and render assistance to them, the Tajik Embassy in Moscow reports.

Set up on November 11, the commission will coordinate actions of the Embassy employees and representatives of appropriate bodies of Tajikistan.

In case of necessity, Tajik nationals may apply to the commission or call the following telephone numbers:

+7 (495) 690-41-86; 690-38-46 – Abdulmajid Dostiyev, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia;

+7 926-203-70-86 – Tourabeg Nazarov, Counselor, Tajik Embassy in Moscow;

+7 925-74-82-47 – Sulaymon Rashidov, Counselor, Tajik Embassy in Moscow;

+7 926-349-33-28 – Khurshed Zayniddinov, Specialist, Tajik Embassy in Moscow;

+7 926-839-27-16 – Murod Bouriboyev, Press Secretary, Tajik Embassy in Moscow;

+7 925-880-80-38 – Asror Odinayev, Representative of the Migration Service of Tajikistan in Russia;

+7 906-724-02-02 – Saidmukhtor Mirzoyev, Deputy Representative of the Migration Service of Tajikistan in Russia.

We will recall that relations between Dushanbe and Moscow have become aggravated after the Qurghon Teppa city court sentenced Captain Vladimir Sadovnichiy (Russian national) and Captain Aleksey Rudenko (citizen of Estonia) to 8 ½ years in prison each on November 8.  The sentence followed their conviction on charges of smuggling, illegal border crossing, and violating international air carriage regulations.

Moscow called the sentence “extremely severe and politically motivated.”
